چکیده

Abstract We present a study of the D∗ρ system made by using the method of QCD sum rules to determine the mass of possible resonances generated in the same system. Using isospin and spin projectors, we investigate the different configurations and obtain evidences for three D∗ mesons with isospin I = 1/2, spin S = 0, 1, 2 and with masses 2500 ± 67 MeV, 2523 ± 60 MeV, and 2439 ± 119 MeV, respectively. The last state can be associated with D∗ 2(2460) (spin 2) listed by the Particle Data Group, while one of the first two might be related to D∗(2640), with unknown spin-parity. In the case of I = 3/2 we also find evidences of three states with spin 0, 1 and 2, respectively, with masses 2467±82 MeV, 2420±128 MeV, and 2550±56 MeV. The results for the sector I = 1/2 and S = 0, 1, 2, are intriguingly similar to a previous study of the D∗ρ system based on effective field theories, supporting in this way a molecular picture for the resonances D∗(2640) and D∗ 2(2460), while the results for I = 3/2 hint towards the existence of exotic mesons since a multiquark configuration is required to get the quantum numbers of the states found.

Strong Couplings of Heavy Mesons to A Light Vector Meson in QCD

We make a detailed analysis of the BBρ(DDρ) and B∗Bρ(D∗Dρ) strong couplings gBBρ(gDDρ) and gB∗Bρ(gD∗Dρ) using QCD light cone sum rules(LCSR). The existing some negligence is pointed out in the previous LCSR calculation on gB∗Bρ(gD∗Dρ) and an updated estimate is presented. Our findings can be used to understand the behavior of the B, D → ρ semileptonic form factors at large momentum transitions....

Predictive Ability of QCD Sum Rules for Excited Baryons

The masses of octet baryons are calculated by the method of QCD sum rules. Using generalized interpolating fields, three independent sets of QCD sum rules are derived which allow the extraction of low-lying N* states with spin-parity 1/2+, 1/2and 3/2in both the non-strange and strange channels. The predictive ability of the sum rules is examined by a Monte-Carlo based analysis procedure in whic...

Four-Quark Condensates in Nucleon QCD Sum Rules

The in-medium behavior of the nucleon spectral density including self-energies is revisited within the framework of QCD sum rules. Special emphasis is given to the density dependence of four-quark condensates. A complete catalog of four-quark condensates is presented and relations among them are derived. Generic differences of such four-quark condensates occurring in QCD sum rules for light bar...

QCD sum rules as applied to heavy baryons 1 Stefan Groote Institut für Physik der Johannes - Gutenberg - Universität , 55099 Mainz , Germany

We give an overview over recent calculations of baryonic correlator functions with finite mass quarks in view on their applicability for QCD sum rules. The QCD sum rule method is then demonstrated within the Heavy Quark Effective Theory. Invited talk given at the conference “Heavy Quark Physics 5”, Dubna, Russia, 6–8 April 2000, to appear in the proceedings

QCD Sum Rules and Soft-Hard Interplay for Hadronic Form Factors

We discuss two types of contributions to hadronic form factors in QCD: hard gluon exchange and soft wave function overlap. Within the QCD sum rule approach, the hard contribution has strong numeric suppression by factor (αs/π) ∼ 0.1 for each exchange. For this reason, the soft contribution dominates at accessible momentum transfers. The “humpy” distribution amplitudes used to enhance hard terms...
